"More natural" 2.0
More ecological - It will be hard to fully replace the original Angles90, since its production costs 6 times less than the one of Angles90 Wood. However, we want to give people at least the option to order a more eco-friendly version by chosing a re-newable material like wood.
More unique - Not only is every grip pair are unique - your two single grips are unique too and have their own story: wood is darker in the tree-center than on the outside and wooden parts grown in spring have different lines than parts grown in autumn.
More natural - We have taken our vision of “training more naturally” one step further. We started our journey with more natural grip angles, then moved on to offer more natural full-body workouts applicable in natural workout places (see our other products). Now we try to turn equipment materials more natural too - as far as possible.
FROM AN IDEA TO 80,000 CLIENTS
FROM AN IDEA TO 80,000 CLIENTS
In 2017, Simon Sparber, former gymnast and Angles90 founder, cut off old ski-stick handles to try out doing pull-ups. The idea of Angles90 and our vision to train more naturally was born right there. Now in Nov '22 we have taken this vision to a deeper level: While doing more natural exercises is about making you better, using more natural product materials is about making the planet better. Apart from Angles90 Wood, we now use 100% recyclable for seven products.
ERGO
Here the handle fits the form of your hand, so the stronger hand part (the middle) does the most work while relieving pressure on the weaker parts. Ideal for 12 – 20+ reps.
POWER
Same features & lighter!

PREGUNTAS FRECUENTES
How different is the grip compared to the original Angles90 Grip?
The difference is basically not there, so neither worse nor better, as the biggest factor of how well the grip is designed is it’s ergonomic shape and much less about which material is used, as both the original plastic Angles90 grip, as well as Angles90 Wood are hard materials.
Does it break easier than the original Angles90 Grips?
No, since the “weakest link of the chain” here is the strap, not the handle - and for both products, the exact same strap got used. So both products have a certified max. load of 180kg per handle, while our personal tests report up to 500kg resistance per handle.
Why should I buy Angles90 Wood?
It’s NOT about the function, neither about grip nor about max. resistance.| It’s about taking more conscious buying decisions, spending more (both you and us!), but doing more good for the planet.| If you are from Europe, you fully support your local economy since the product development, material sourcing and production are made in Italy.| Wooden products are premium products, not only because of their look, but also because of their uniqueness (see description above).
